The First Certificate in Organizational Development Consulting (FCODC) is an international certification program offered by Advisio. The FCODC is an introduction to the systemic consulting. It presents an array of most characteristic methods of systemic work with organizations.
  • Program's objectives

    The FCODC program equips participants with a rich set of knowledge, skills and practical tools necessary to work effectively as an organizational development consultant.

    A successful OD Consultant is able to combine two key abilities: firstly, understands organizations, and secondly, understands people. He thinks and acts in a systemic manner. Is able to assist an organization in the alignment of organization's "soft tissue" (people, behavior, culture, value) and its key business objectives. He understands the difference between supporting individual development of employees (eg. training, coaching) and implementing systemic interventions throughout various inter-connected layers of an organization.

    Such a consultant does not offer ready-made tactical solutions (training x, method y, tool z), but builds durable, sustainable, and self-renewing mechanisms that meet needs of individual employees and simultaneously allow for learning and development of the whole organization.
